Red Thread IIA secondary piping, pipe in a pipe system, is identical to the primary pipe in construction. Sections are joined together with matching two-piece clamshells that are bonded and bolted together. Secondary pipes are factory proof tested at the following pressures:
3” -300 psig (minimum)
4”- 265 psig (minimum)
6”- 265 psig (minimum)
